Bio: Born to a small family of merchants, Carreening felt unfulfilled for much of her life and wanted more. Jaded since she was a youngling, much of Carreening’s demeanor can be described as “gruff” and “righteously angry.” Upon witnessing an attack by the Shades, Carreening apprenticed herself to a warrior and spent everyday training and fighting. Upon reaching adulthood, she left her clan on a quest to hunt Shades. While embroiled one day in a fight with Shades and Beastclan, the fledgling Dawnseeker clan encountered the fight and jumped in to help. Speaking to them after the battle, Carreening decided to join them and help to defend against and fight any Shades and Beastclan who may come their way. She quickly became second-in-command.

Within the Dawnseeker clan, Carreening approached Kholin to ask if he would be willing to help her continue her bloodline, as she did not want to go through the labor of forming a relationship first. Kholin agreed, and they had four hatchlings together; Twine, Crystalline, Feral, and Gemini, all of whom have since left the clan. Kholin confessed that he was in love with her and Carreening, who found herself hopelessly endeared by him, agreed to enter a relationship. They remain deeply in love with each other. Kholin has also taken a second mate, Stormchaser, who is now one of Carreening’s closet friends. Clan priestess Siva offered to act as a surrogate and Carreening, Kholin, and Stormchaser have raised the hatchling, Scream, together. Scream has also left the clan. After accidentally producing hatchlings with a dragon outside of the clan, Reverie panicked and fled to Kholin for support. Kholin and his mates have since helped Reverie raise the hatchlings, Shade, Riot, Delia, and Sima. (All hatchlings except Riot have left the clan). Kholin and a fling outside the clan accidentally produced one hatchling named Creep.

Following Duality’s retirement, Carreening has chosen to remain as second-in-command, leaving Vendetta as leader.
