Golden and warm, he makes bad things seem a little less awful just by being there. He's a comforting presence, a softly glowing light in the gloom. He's the feeling of being snuggled in a thick blanket, of holding a warm mug of hot cocoa between your hands, of wearing an oversized sweater, of visiting old friends within the pages of a favorite story, of drifting off to sleep while raindrops patter on the roof. He's the knowledge that you're appreciated exactly as you are and the promise that you'll never be alone.


Fluff Bucket is the eldest of three and caretaker of his siblings. The trio's parents didn't stay in the clan long after their nest hatched, feeling a persistent call to serve one of the deities. The siblings don't begrudge their parents for leaving, though their actions almost certainly played a part in Fluff Bucket becoming so attentive to the other two.

When it became clear that his baby brother Color Mash wasn’t aging past hatchlinghood Fluff Bucket began teaching himself how to make simple toys for the younger tundra. He primarily focuses on wood as a crafting material, though he also experiments with other supplies like paper, cord, and cloth. He enjoys the challenge of turning an idea into a functional object and regularly tinkers with whatever’s available to him.

His preference for using wood is due to his sister Tiki’s unique anatomy. Since she’s made of the material, the toys he designs serve double duty as “practice patients” so he can familiarize himself with how to treat and repair wooden objects in case anything ever happens to her. He also studied how to care for aged wood in particular since Tiki was originally an antique before gaining life, and researched extensively to find the best type of oil to keep her surface in a healthy condition.

On the occasions that he devotes time to himself, Fluff Bucket likes to relax by indulging in honey-flavored treats, ranging from tea to baked goods. He has a weakness for the sweet taste, whether it’s mixed in as an ingredient, drizzled on top, or even eaten raw.
