Blind since birth, Ever found him curled up along the West Side and took him home to the Starshine Manor to raise as his own. Already made terrified of the world, his healing process was a long one made longer by residual fear and anxiety instilled in him long ago.

Many would have given up on him, but Ever was insistent. Slowly but surely, the fight was drained out of him with every patient touch of his caretaker. Every kick forgiven, every punch forgotten, every cry hushed by a gentle voice. He blossomed quietly in the safety of the gardens, hiding himself from all but a select few.

Ever had been training him to use his senses where eyes failed him, enlisted Song to teach him the way of the mage. He's still learning, but Scribe has began to understand the world around him better than anyone's sight ever could.

Since his recovery, Scribe is excitable, energetic, but cripplingly self conscious. To the extent that many believe him to be mute, Scribe refuses to open his heart or let his voice be heard. Ever has worked tirelessly to push his student into a better mentality, though all the trying in the world hasn't helped.
