One of two eggs found in the aftermath of Banescales' return to the waking world, Pentalophus' origins remain a mystery; it can only be assumed that a Fire nest was washed out to sea, and the currents carried her still in the shell up to the Tsunami Flats. Hatched and raised by a Water clan, she considers herself a droplet through and through-- one with a different weapon, perhaps, but still sworn to the Tidelord. While she does return to the lair to nest and to bring her clanmates food, she usually stays out with her 'brother' Miliaris (the other egg found with hers, a Wind-blessed Banescale) hunting and fighting.
