A mage... or a mechanist? Both.

There is no way you can tell how he manages to bring all his invention to live. All the machines, golems and trinkets he builds somehow work even without a visible power source like electricity. There are dragons who saw him dig on graves in the cemetery, others believe they spotted him near the spiritual dragons of this clan, asking about synergies of the dead and the living...
Nonetheless. His golems and inventions work without doubt and that's what matters at the end, right?
