she'll make the gaolers regret leaving the banescales this one small mercy.

it was a mistake on their part to have tried to wipe them all out in the first place, of course. but to take that path and then not finish following through - well, that was a falter at the final hurdle that they would soon realise shouldn't have been afforded.

because for her ancestors, of her ancestors, in retaliation and pain retribute, she rose in their stead. born with their dying song ringing a claxon within her earholes, she knows that others of her generation have sought to mend the paths, to forge the bridges between 'ours' and 'theirs'.

she, however, is not so easily forgiving. she burns the bridges and fuels the feud in her forebears' name. there is fear and bargaining from both sides, her species and theirs - but all she does is laugh.

this is her choice - her decision - her duty. she will continue the war started so long before her time, and drag it to its final conclusion.

she is the banescales' vengeance incarnate, and she will do whatever it takes to make sure that they win.
