GzdIsGw.png In a small town in the middle of nowhere sits a dilapidated mansion. Every night shadowy a figure appears and tends to the Cemetery that sits in the property. That figure is The Masked Man, a snarky demon servant that was exiled from Hell by Lucifer for being annoying. Though his official reason for exile was for being 'defective'. This is because Masked Men are mindless servants who were created to only obey orders. They have no free thought, or emotion. The Masked Man here however is the complete opposite. He can think for himself, and learn. Which is why Lucifer exiled him in the first place (that and he kept roasting him), he couldn't have a free thinking masked man influencing the others. Buuuuuut, Lucifer never told him he was exiled. As far Masked Man knows, he was sent to the surface to do whatever dirty work Lucifer needed him to do. When he's not doing that Masked Man enjoys reading everything he can find. From books, to instructions on a box, he WILL read it. His favorite pastime is reading the tombstones in the Cemetery. Masked Man was tasked to house and keep track of Redacted, Lucifer's son, after being exiled from Hell (Lucifer likes exiling people, wonder why...). He... failed at that, and when Redacted was killed, he was sent down into an underground labyrinth that contains a Library filled with Magical books. Above that labyrinth lies a castle. He fell in love with the Princess who lived there. They were close, but by the time she died, he never got to tell her how she truly felt.
After a millennia of being forgotten about, The Devil tasked him with keeping an eye on Asmodeus , a manifestation of his lust that acts almost exactly like Lucifer. So far he has hasn't failed his task. So far.

Most people have the luck to never have seen Masked Man's face. But for the unfortunate few who have... well they go mad. Vincent is the only one who has seen his face, and is still sane. And alive.

And that is why he wears a mask!
