B I O G R A P H Y

______ Lamia was one of the Banescales who’d first made themselves known to the world, bursting out from magma. She and her brother Raiden had been right next to each other when they hatched at the same time, and so they’d flown out together as brother and sister. Unfortunately for poor Lamia, she was born with a poor immune system, and had contracted a deadly disease during her migration which forced the pair to land in the Charged Barrens and rest, the two thinking it was merely a passing cold until Lamia’s condition rapidly deteriorated. With how deserted the Charged Barrens were, there was no clan that the pair could turn to for help, and Lamia would have succumbed to her illness had the Winds of Frostfall not discovered them by a miracle. The mercenary group took the two hatchlings and raced against time to the nearest clan with a healer that could save Lamia, and after a suspenseful few days her condition stabilised and she eventually made a full recovery. To repay the Winds of Frostfall for their kindness, both Lamia and Raiden insisted on joining them, and eventually their leader Bimala relented on the condition that they stay in Frostfall Village and grow up before they were allowed to join. Now that they’ve both grown, Lamia and Raiden have made good on their promise, becoming invaluable parts of the Winds of Frostfall and a fearsome brother-sister duo to face.

______ Lamia was quite a sickly dragon growing up, and though her immune system has strengthened somewhat, she still gets sick worryingly easily. She doesn’t let that stop her though, continuing to travel with the Winds of Frostfall and keeping a positive attitude. Lamia is outgoing and adventurous, often the first to volunteer for tricky jobs. She keeps medicinal herbs with her at all times to cure any ailment she may develop, and her stash has come in handy multiple times when someone in the mercenary group gets sick. Of all her fellow mercenaries, she’s closest with her brother and Adair. Adair was the dragon who got the group to a healer in time, and so Lamia feels indebted to him most of all, even though the Skydancer insists she doesn’t owe him anything. Still, the two have developed a father-daughter relationship of sorts, and it’s clear that the two respect each other’s capabilities very much. If any dragon targets Adair, Lamia will be right there to protect him.
