Kalopsia used to be an adventurer until she decided to trade the life of danger for something more peaceful and meditative. So, she became a scholar and started to focus on researching monsters. She used her own experience with the monsters to fill up the gaps and mistakes in the old research.

The banescale has started, and finished, quite a lot of new research as well. She has written several papers about the creatures the Guild has faced and defeated. And once in a while, Kalopsia finds herself back on the field to do some more claws-on studying. She appreciates those days when she can go to do some field studying. It might be risky, but someone has to study the monsters dwelling on Sornieth.

If someone comes to disturb her work, Kalopsia tends to get a little snappy. She doesn't exactly mean to come off so rude, but getting disturbed in the middle of her work just annoys Kalopsia a lot. She has "do not disturb" signs for a reason! When she gets into the zone, Kalopsia doesn't want to get disturbed by someone coming to ask her stupid questions.
