B I O G R A P H Y
Bast has an maternal instinct that could put most mothers to shame. Those who don't know the Snapper would assume she was a soldier but they would be wrong. She's the Clan's caretaker and works as a nanny for all the hatchlings. But don't be fooled by her sweet personality. While she can be gentle and soothing to younglings, she can also break a full grown dragon in half with her mighty jaws. Yet another reason Queen Iren chose her to look after the Clan's young.
While everyone views Queen Iren as the stern but kind mother, they view Bast as the fun and loving aunt who lets you get away with things Iren would scold you for. And though she hasn't any children of her own, she looks after the younglings as if they were. Perhaps someday she will find a mate and build her own family instead of looking after others.
