"Bernadette, Oh God, Bernadette, no. We can't burninate the entire countryside today. For starters, we just simply don't have the time. Furthermore, if we destroy the entire Arcane region, where on Sornieth will we LIVE? Dear, please."

Archer is a mellow sort of dragon who likes to take things as they come and roll with the punches. His soulmate Bernadette, however... is not. She is fiery, hot-tempered, possibly a little insane, and prone to burninating everything and everyone she encounters. As you can guess, Archer spends a lot of his time trying to convince her NOT to set things on fire, sometimes including (and especially) HIM.

"No, Bernadette, you cannot set our clan mother on fire for typing such things about you on my profile page. Well, dear, they all happen to be true. Why, just last week you set my tail on fire because you thought it was staging a coup. The tip is still a little singed, love. See? No, please don't set it on fire again. That won't help."

After growing up with Bernadette and having grown adept at curtailing the damage she can do when the mood strikes her, Archer finds it all too easy to take care of an entire den full of multi-cultured dragons of various species and affiliations all under one roof.

"It's a piece of cake," Archer says. "These dragons are all very well-behaved and a sheer joy to work with. Why, this clan practically runs itse- Bernadette, please put that vase down. It's my favori- Oh. Well, now it's broken. I suppose that will need to be cleaned up. An Alpha Male's work is never done, it would seem."
