The egg, found in the dark lands, was wrapped in tentacles of darkness.

When the egg was found, everyone realized that God was here. His gaze was felt, through the shell, as were the tentacles that reached out to his children. Awe of the All-Seeing ran down my spine. Fear. Benefit.
Everyone has been waiting for a blessing for a long time, and God has descended.
The shell cracked at the first touch. And out of the darkness, into the radiance of the eyes, a child appeared. God's child. She will lead the people, carrying God in her.
