Biography
Deep umber eyes opened for the first time. Witnessing the last of her history succumbing to liquid flames, her forefathers reclaimed by their mother. Standing frozen as glassy white eyes disappeared into the slowly rising stream. Around her others took to the air. Without any knowledge of their ancestors but still inheriting their instincts to take to the skies. All devoid of any patterns, completely indistinct. She would not be the only one who remained long enough to see the last of their legacy be returned to flames. Unlike those who had been reborn these dragons where each incredibly distinct, some sporting giant crests, bone structures that clung to their scales, thick rows of spines, beautiful overlays of filigree worked into their scales, and even feathers made brittle by the ice, all coated with a monochrome blue. Left to slowly fade, but now all swallowed whole by the flames. There was nothing left for them to see. The last of the hatchlings of this dead race took to the skies.
She wandered the lands, finding another young bane in her travels. They would remain together for the rest of their lives. Two siblings, holding the kinship of their true mothers' flames breaking the seel upon their eggs. They would be raised by a Gaelor seeking repentance for his kinds actions. The genocide of the Banes hanging heavily upon his ancestors and their descendants. Melange would raise them as if they where is own, each perched upon one of his large horns. He would help them through each of their challenges and endeavors. Finally finding peace within those his kind had seen no other option but to kill.
Tetanus learned a great deal of her species culture through what stories the Goelers passed down, not all had been on such horrid terms with the Banes. Though many details were lost to the hands of time she would learn and practice her kinds traditions, telling their stories to all who would listen. Desperate to keep what little remained of her ancestors alive. Born her mothers' flames yet her brown eyes tie her to this land. Perhaps it is her need to stay grounded that made her wait before she left. Giving her the desperate need to dig up these stories that had been traped so deep beneath the frozen earth for so many generations. Forcing her to remember her ancestors' last moments before they were lost once again. She would not be the last of those who followed the history of their great lineage. Though she would hold the greatest part in its revival.
not finished um need to talk about their culture a bit more. Very opinionated and always ready to fight for what they think is right. I make her seem really chill but they are incredibly devoted dragons who form deep bonds with their families either born into or chosen. They aren't super devoted to any of the deities anymore, they are thankful but very wary to serve another deity again.
