While the first generation of new Banescale had the last songs of their ancestors to guide them, most of these dragons have had to adopt the traditions of other species.

In ancient times Banescale would return to a central nursery deep in the Blacksand Annex to raise their young before returning to their clans; however, modern-day Banescale eschew this location, and parents keep their clutches with them at all times.

They boast an impressive fanned wingspan that compliments their powerful legs and tails. Banescale lack the forelegs of other species, and modern Banescale do not participate in the crafting of weapons and armor that their ancestors so treasured.

Powerful aerial combatants, Banescale prefer engage with their enemies in the air, using their powerful talons to grapple and crush their foes. When they must engage with targets on the ground, breath weapons and hit and run tactics are their favored methods of dispatching an enemy.

LIFE

____One of the first born into the world after their eggs were uncovered. He was blessed by the Flamecaller with genius level intellect. Though born into a wind clan he swiftly made his way to the Waste as a hatchling. He had only just set foot into the Emberglow Hearth when two wildclaws landed in his path. The two looked at him then at each other. They turned and started walking deeper into the Hearth. He understood and followed after them. He was lead deep into the Great Furnace. Every step Deeper gave him comfort -he was finally home.

____He found his place within the Celestial Domain quickly. As a battling clan he was able to use the gifts given to him by the Flamecaller to the fullest extent. He was soon a valuable, and respected, member of the clan even though some of the other members were unsure due to his newness. He made great friends with Palestreak and Daygrace, two coatls who became foster siblings to him. While the two coatls were not as strong, or as quick-witted, as him the three became inseparable. They even practiced in the coliseum together hoping to become as useful as the other high leveled dragons.
