Biography
Male | Teenager | Ghost
General Information
At a young age, no more than a child, Phantom was captured by a team of scientists looking to study the effects of cryonics and the future. The Windclaw was the ideal breed for the study as it was large in size and easy to contain with the proper techniques. The dragon underwent hundreds of tests, dissections, and and painful studied in a very short period of time before he would even be prepared for the main experiment. During that time he faced the tortures of harsh training and met with whips, tasers, and other unfriendly tools.
After almost five months, and much suffering, the dragon was finally frozen alive. The test was greatly against the dragon's will and he was killed during the experiment. The plan was to freeze his body for a month, but during the revival phase, after many surgeries, the scientist learned that they had failed. The body was discarded. To hide evidence of their failure, a small team was sent to hide the body in the mountains. However, the team never returned, as the conditions of the mountain were just too brutal. The body of the dragon was lost along with them, under feet of ice and snow.
A nameless, faceless, unknown witch of the mountains was able to recover the the body of the dragon. She has a connection with misunderstood beings and knew that there were other methods of resurrection that many were unaware of. The dragon's resurrection was not without pain. His soul was to be detached from his frozen and mutilated body so as to be free from the labors of life. After many hours of high squeals and agony, the dragon lay sprawled before the witch, afraid. She wore robes of white, and through the weakness of it all, that was all Phantom saw. He was scared- humans were the enemy in his book- however, this woman has saved him. Could he call her a savior? No one could tell for sure, but the dragon was free of the torturous laboratory and at the moment that was all that mattered.
The days after were full of recovery. Though the dragon was only a ghost he was given the ability to appear and live as a live dragon with the exception that he could become invisible when necessary. He was capable of physical and mental feelings, but would no longer age and could never die. He was trained in battle and much to the witches surprise, he had talent in this field. The dragon had acquired unheard of capabilities that allowed him to use ice as a weapon.
As the dragon grew, he learned to care for himself and others, often appearing at the bottom of the mountains to help the people below. He grew fond of humans, not allowing his painful experiences to possess him. He also learned to get along with other dragons as well. Also, since he was now a natural fighter, he no longer was in need of a guardian. So the witch disappeared and wiped his memory of her forever, only leaving slight traces behind. The process was not at all enjoyable for the dragon and left him with reoccurring migraines and nausea.
