Annawrath

Within the Enlightened Library, when the Collectors of History were still quite young, there was a Ridgeback by the name of Annawrath, one of the most respected researchers. She leaped into danger headfirst, but it seemed to benefit her more than hinder her, for she would come back with more and more knowledge about the clans of Sornieth every time she came back. When the Collectors of History learnt of the presence of a massive hidden clan of lost dragons, Annawrath immediately stepped forward, along with the many students taught by her, by sunset they had already left, with orders to return by sunset the next day.

The next day came and so did sunset, and neither did Annawrath or her students return, nor did they return the next day, or the next, or the week after. The leader, Beatrice, announced that they had to assume the worst, that this new clan was much more hostile than they thought. She then placed a ban on attempting to find and document the clan, in hopes that no more lives would be lost.

That's where her story ended from their point of view, but for her it had only just begun.

When Annawrath and her students washed up within the clan's domain the leader then immediately fished them out of the water. When they woke up all knowledge of their origins or any memory of their past had vanished.
