__ Developed from a rare double embryo in the same shell as Sinjin, with the twinspeak and near-telepathic familiarity with each other to prove it. Piquin is sometimes a boy while Sinjin is sometimes a girl, and Solomundee still has bets open on whether there's ever a time both are one or the other because no one's ever been able to prove it conclusively.

As they don't have twinny names, no one has an excuse for getting them wrong (except their mother, by parental right of mangling-two-names-together followed by different-mangling then correction). Anyone who still doesn't bother finds both faes soundly deaf until they learn.

Met Prufrock on their fledge wander year and persuaded him back to warmer climes with them to set up a mutually productive business where they make paper and he chills the water involved and makes things with the paper. (Or, often, since they make high-quality handpressed paper through great time and effort, Prufrock buys cheaper paper in bulk for parts of his work while they sell theirs at a premium, but when they do collaborate for expensive products it's always profitable.)

As they're responsible for Prufrock even being there, they naturally deserve the prime napping spots in his fur whenever they want them. Every other fae in the lair disagrees with this claim in favor of "whoever gets there first doesn't move," and majority unfortunately yet rules.
