This isn't the end, this is a new beginning! |
The Fool is the first card in the deck because the Tarot deck traditionally is symbolically the journey the Fool goes on, so it strikes me as incredibly appropriate that this be the first card pulled. Presently you're at the beginning of a brand new adventure, starting a new chapter in your life. Harness the Spring energy and the Fool's innocent optimism to look at this as opportunity for a fresh new start.
The challenge you're facing is symbolized by the card The Hermit. This can symbolize that your challenges are more inward, perhaps that you need to reflect and learn from your mistakes/flaws, or maybe that you're not being mindful enough. Alternatively, this could mean that you're being over-attentive to yourself, and thus over-thinking or being too critical. The humble Hermit reminds us that we have a great deal to learn from ourselves, to be self-aware without being too harsh on ourselves, nor too lenient. Balance is key!
Your past being represented by one of the most meaningful cards in the deck: Death. This strongly implies the symbolism that you've gone through a personal transformation or that you have made a consequential change recently. While death is an end, this card is just as representative of rebirth and new beginnings. Considering it's coupled with the Tower, you've probably gone through a rather significant personal cleansing, transition, and/or change. This is your sign that any loss you're feeling as a result of that change is simply the Universe making room for the new things coming your way.
Much like Death, The Tower represents revelation and personal transformation. These cards together only reinforces that you are not done growing, changing, and learning. Life is a give and take, and substantial changes are going to continue to happen as you undergo this personal journey. Just like the Tower, stand strong and tall as these sweeping shifts happen in life. Don't be afraid to let go and allow the change to happen even if it feels chaotic and out of control, and trust in yourself that you're prepared to handle it. If the Tower still falls, it can always be rebuilt stronger and better and new.
As above is The Star, shining with new hope and authenticity. All this change might be overwhelming or knock you off your feet. Be sure to trust in yourself and stick to your roots so that you don't get swept away by your renewed self. When you feel lost, get back into touch with yourself internally to find the guidance you need. Be sure to take good care of yourself so that you can handle and get the most out of this personal journey. |
So below is the King of Cups, a fantastic personification of balance between emotion and logic. Wrapping back to that comment about balance, the King displays a perfect example to guide you throughout your personal journey. Don't allow your emotions to get the better of you, or for your past to shackle you. You have come far and accomplished much, and you can rely on yourself to have established the skills necessary to best navigate life's unpredictability. |
Balance is key! |
Internally you may be influenced by the anxious or scary energy reflected via the Nine of Swords. You may be suffering from nightmares or worry. Given how previous cards Death, the Tower, and the Star all separately remind you to trust in and take care of yourself, this card only re-iterates how important it is to take a step back sometimes. Hyper-focusing and over-preparation can be just as harmful as barely reflecting at all.
The Six of Swords implies that you are being externally effected by the changes you don't have control over. All of that internal conflict must be weighing you down, and this card invites the relief that acceptance and letting go often brings. It's important not to dwell on our mistakes, but instead to grow and learn from them with a healthy mindful awareness; with bravery, you can creatively work around life's obstacles. As long as you trust within yourself and continue to draw from your internal strengths, you will be able to accomplish your personal goals one step at a time.
The Two of Wands is about manifesting energy, about forming an action plan and accomplishing the tasks, about decisions and inner alignment. You both are scared of going for what you want, but you want it so much that you hope you can find the inner strength and organization to manifest your best self after all the change you've undergone. Your other guiding cards have your back - you have your back!
The outcome of your personal journey the Ten of Pentacles, representing wealth - both financial and social - personal long-term success, and secure and responsible generosity. This is a very positive read, just as fitting to end on as the Fool is to begin with. This is one of those cards that promise everything will eventually come together and you will be proud of everything you achieved. Just listen to your heart as well as your mind, and you'll find the power within yourself to do anything you set out to do.
