The Reflection
Where there is light, there was shadow.

Wonder was brought into the fold as an innocent pathfinder. Her curiosity for the world is so powerful; where ever the light touches, she always yearned to study it. Her journeys of wandering took an unexpected turn when she found the clan. She realized not all things are touched by the boundless reaches of the light, and became intrigued to study it; and so the clan noticed her passion as she roamed throughout the lands under the reign of Shadowbinder and welcomed her as one of their own.

They taught her of their ways in the dark, where she learned the concept of duality, nothing is ever one without the other: life and death, good and evil, light and shadow. She prides herself of being able to see the world through different perspectives. Shadow cannot be cast without light, and light cannot exist without the dark. Without the other, there would be emptiness.

With duality however, came conflict. Unnecessary rivalry between one another that sparked more forms of duality. Sadness can never happen without happiness, anger that came from the calmest of hearts, peace that can cause chaos and vice versa.

However, as much as duality exist as opposites, she realizes the two ends of the concept are not so different after all.

She watched as many dragons from the clan had been exalted to serve the Shadowbinder. The clan let them go with heavy hearts and tears of sadness streaking down the scales of their cheeks; but in their hearts, she could also sense happiness, they were proud, happy, and hopeful to see their young serve for the greater good.

This lead her curiosity to discover the duality in herself. When she sees herself as part of light from birth, she also saw a part of herself that she never knew had always been shadow.
