An apprentice of the Light had found the unhatched egg, sitting alone in the overgrown ruins of a strange research pod, nestled among sun-bleached bones and shards of golden crystal. He brought the egg into the nesting grounds of his clan, where the matron placed it in a nest, tending to it as if it were her own.

On the sixth day, the egg hatched, and out crawled a hatchling. At first glance, it looked like a regular gaoler; a soft, striped cream pelt, a berry-colored mane, a row of terracotta scales running down its back, and glowing orange eyes.
But there was something odd about the hatchling.
First of all, instead of the typical antlers of a gaoler, the hatchling's head bore a set of segmented horns. Second, a pair of feathery wings rested where flightless claw-wings should have been. And third of all, the hatchling's hind limbs were more akin to a faun's hooved legs.

It was an abomination. A cursed one.


to do lore: something something got cast out, grew up among fauns, got contacted by a sha'draan who introduced her to the rest of her kin and explained that shes a gaoler/sha'draan hybrid born out of a lethal accident at a sha'draan research pod. something something she proceeds to go on spicy adventures w the other draan beans, joins the constaarium, has lots of fun.
