Hidden from the view of common travelers, the clan’s nests are tucked away safely in the gnarled roots of a wisteria tree. Though the entrance is damp and cool, with twisting roots proving a hassle to worm through, the inner sanctum is dry, warm, and pleasant. Invisible from the outside, the interior is lit by floating balls of magical energy called “wisps”. Though the natural sunlight doesn’t reach here, the ground is a soft bed of moss and clover, and edible mushrooms grow in between the thick tangles of wood. Though beautiful, if you find yourself anywhere near here you’re in for a nasty surprise. Mercy’s name stems from the fact that although she has the strength to level a good chunk of the Windswept Plateau, she chooses to only take out her anger on those who intrude where they don’t belong. Her area of jurisdiction is the hatchlings and nests of Drifthome, and she protects them fiercely. Though her methods of “taking out the trash”, as she would say, are anything but merciful, she melts into a gentle and caring personality around the young dragons of the clan. Her only weakness seems to be the sparkling, begging eyes of hatchlings. | ____________ |
