-Carries around bow for the ghost.
-The ghost doesn't know archery either.
-Both assume the other knows it.
-Enjoys playing in snow.
-Really good at magic.
-If only she knew how to properly use all of it.
-Learning from anybody in the pack she can.
-The few things she carries around aren't poisons or other stuff, but blended drinks. They're all spoiled. So... technically poison?

Lore
Xyla was trained for battle under lightning. Simply a normal dragon.

She was sold off pretty fast. Not even named properly, just flung a name onto her. That was okay. She was made to be a normal dragon, sold off for tons, benefiting the clan. She was fine.
Not really.
The cl-pack that had taken her home was.. welcoming, at least. She would mostly just lay around, sometimes getting up to fight when they called.

One day they called her over for a group event. Everyone in the pack was there, and Snow was in the front very cheerful. Seemed like a festival. Snow called out to every dragon there. "Hey everybody! Today we're gonna just practice our magic! It might seem boring, but trust me, it's not. Anyway, go divide yourselves into sections on which magic is which!" Snow stepped down to go look around and organize everybody. Orca then started speaking. "It doesn't matter if you've never practiced magic before. We'll help you through it." Orca also went down, but this time to drag anybody less experienced into a group.

Xyla was.. part of it. She obeyed as Orca taught her, and found that she was actually very good at it. Faster than many other dragons at figuring it out. Maybe she wasn't meant to scratch things and fight, but more to use her magic to do things.

After the festival, which she had learned was called 'Sfelrost', she played around with her magic. Making little blue waves and zapping around, even making little thunder walls with it. Fun.

A purple Guardian walked in. Xyla recognized him in a second. Fjord? He barely ever got out of his cave or his scouting routes. "W-Wha-Why- are you here doing here?" Xyla sputtered out, stumbling over her words in confusion. "Ah, I'm simply here to visit Xyla, one who is fantastic at magic. The whole pack's heard by now." Fjord answered the question.

Xyla nodded, tired of hearing that name. Xyla.. A constant reminder that she wasn't much. Fjord seemed to readjust. "Your face soured at the mention of your name. Do you not like it?" Xyla couldn't do much but nod again. "This journey was to see how good you were with it, but I think a renaming is in order. How about.. Coriander?" Fjord continued on.

"Oh. That sounds nice! What does it mean?" She was excited at the mention of a new name. "It means something like.. potential. A potential never touched. Like your magic. It's also a plant." He answered. "Let me get something.. err.. I was sure I had it somewhere in here.." Fjord rummaged through his bag, finally pulling out a scroll.
"I kept these on me in case I ever thought of being named after a plant."
"It looks wonderful and all, but what does it do?" She asked of him.
"The scroll changes your name. If you're good enough at magic, you can do it yourself. Try it."
Xyla carefully opened the scroll and read out the text on it. Fjord quietly whispered "Now, say the name you want."

"Coriander."
A small burst of light happened, and the scroll zapped into ashes. "Impressive. Well, I'll be on my way, Coriander."

"Thank you, Fjord."

~~~
Coriander rolled on their bed, enjoying the thought of a new name. It'd be hard to get others to call her Coriander now, wouldn't it? Eh. She could think about it later. For now, the forest seemed to be calling for a walk.
Coriander, wandering the deep woods of the Barren Forest, found herself stumbling down a cliff. She had been here for so long, and yet never figured out the entirety of the woods. Kingsnake would probably know about the whole place, but she had never.. actually talked to him. Oh well. Coriander had been so trapped in her thoughts that she only now noticed she was stepping on a quiver. Had somebody dropped down here and gotten lost? She didn't know everybody here, especially not in the Painted City. Maybe one of their dragons dropped down here while practicing. Who knows? Well, she'd have to find out.
Putting the quiver on herself, she turned towards to fully look at the place. That was a lot of clothing, which she just kept gathering, until she bumped into a skull.
A skull.
She leaped back, on high alert. Her heart beat almost like hummingbird wings. What happened here? Had she been collecting a dead dragon's clothing? Come to think of it, she never saw any archers at the festival.
It was all too much when the skull leaped out of- did it- was it blue- she couldn't tell. She was fainting already.
She woke up being prodded by the skull, and Coriander scrambled away quickly. Maybe she shouldn't have gone out, and her gut lied to her. She then realized that the so-called skull was a sort of turquoise color. It was.. coming out of the actual skull? A spirit? Then it began to speak to her, in a very excitable sounding voice, almost like a spiral.
"Ooohh, a new dragon! I've only seen one so far, I don't think they saw me. Who are you? Oh, can you put on my clothes? I think you'd look good with them on. Hey, you look scared, should I shut up? Maybe I should. My friends always told me to, but I don't think being quiet is nearly as fun as being loud and noticeable. Hm. Okay, just this once, since you haven't spoke yet, and you're all scared and weird."
Coriander did not know what to think of this development. She started processing the conversation, and then just... stopped. This was probably a dream. At least, it was, for her sanity. She put on the clothes and without thinking, strapped the skull to her wing. Why did she do that? What was happening?
The spirit began to talk again. "You look nice with those on. Wow, thank you, I didn't think that would actually work! Wait, can you go fly to your home? Pretty please?" Coriander almost began to follow that command, but caught herself. It was almost like getting out of a jelly cube. "How about you.. tell me about yourself first? Who are you? You know you're dead, right? How are you even here?"
They were very much excited to follow. Coriander supposed being alone for however long it was couldn't be good for you. "I'm......... I.. don't remember my name. I think I died because.. I'm dead.. I know I'm dead, I died because I.. Oh, I was at a feast, and before it started I tried the my best friend's food, they wouldn't mind, and then I.. I was here. They... dumped me out here, I think."
Coriander looked at them. Judging them by their size, they weren't a Fae, so they must've just been a small child when they died. Unlucky. She picked herself up and flew off to her home. "I'm sorry."
