Paskhal

Paskhal began life in the loving clan of Aracari, located on the bottom of the Sea of a Thousand Currents. He spent his days playing in the currents and wandering the gardens within their underwater greenhouse with the other dragons on the clan, until one day he became...curious as to what resided outside of their territory. Perhaps if he had chosen a different day, or had been slightly larger, he wouldn't have been whisked away so easily by the strong currents. By the time he had freed himself from its grasp, he was far away from the only home he had ever known, lost and alone in the ocean.

After countless days of trying to figure his way back to his home clan, Paskhal eventually swam to the surface, hauling himself onto a cold and unfamiliar shore. He wandered the thin strip of land for hours, calling for his friends and family until his voice went hoarse, but no one came. Eventually he resigned himself to being lost and began to look for shelter somewhere warm, eventually finding what appeared to be a folded bundle of cloth, which he snuggled into, hoping that in the morning he would wake and find that it had all been a bad dream.

When he woke, however, he felt oddly...weightless. Almost as if he was flying within the small bed that he had found, and upon peeking out of the folds, he found that he was, in fact, high in the air. Very, very high in the air. With a piercing, shrieked plea to whatever was carrying him to not drop him, he bundled himself back into the fabric and tried not to scream.

It felt like hours before the weightless feeling finally stopped, and the flap of his tiny shelter was flipped, allowing Paskhal to very gingerly crawl out, peering up at the enormous dragon that the fabric apparently belonged to. Despite his intense fear and dread, as the Guardian gently talked him down and asked him about his home, he began to slowly relax. He felt...safe with this giant protector, and as he was gently ushered up and onto his wing, under his cloak, he finally drifted back to sleep, this time at peace.

Paskhal woke next within the territory of the Glade, and his friend, Xanthias, soon brought him into the clan and introduced him to all of the dragons within. While the extreme amount of Faes intrigued him, he was too nervous to leave Xanthias's side, and instead made a tiny roost inside of the Guardian's den.
