Aether

The Starfall Isles, once low rolling plains and small islands lined with glimmering shores, were transformed into a skyline of crystalline peaks and listlessly rotating earth streaked in bolts of pure magic. The Arcanist spends his time within the candlelit halls of Observatory at Focal Point, cataloging the stars in wax-laden archives and scrying runes to enchant the very world around him.

Aether is a very intelligent individual, as are most representatives of her flight. Although, instead of toiling over experiments and bettering the world around her she has another way to use her mind. She wanders the continent with never tiring tiny wingbeats. Pink mist follows behind in her wake akin to the dust off a moth’s fur. In her minuscule talons she hauls scrolls. Aether much prefers documenting the everyday machinations of this plane over testing the limits of such delicate systems. Her favorite thing is seeing how magic effects the lives of plants and insects. In some cases she has even noted completely inanimate objects being manipulated my mana without draconic engagement. How fascinating.
