Watcher

To be born with the Sight and a thirst for knowledge is both a blessing and a curse. Those gifted with the ability to see the future are often cursed with what they learn, both from what is to come and what horrors were narrowly avoided.

He was called Watcher as a hatchling, his gaze intense, wide-eyed, constant, as though watching all around him, and Watcher he remained even once his staring was revealed to be from blindness.

While he might not see visually, he is able to keep himself open to other sensory input, sounds and smells and touch, and though he lacks physical sight, his metaphysical Sight helps him navigate. It is not an improvement on vision; it's not even a passable replacement. At best, he can pick up vague shapes and movements, ringed in colorful auras that helps him distinguish individuals alongside their scents. Relying on a sixth sense like this leaves him often exhausted, grumpy, and prone to headaches.

He does have a rather wry sense of humor; he'll often use the phrase "I'm blind, not [x]" in response to things... even (or especially) when it has nothing to do with his senses. (For example, "I'm blind, not vegan")
