Pyur

Pyur (Pronounced "ur" sort of like informal "your") is a town Idol who helps oversee and act as announcer, or judge in almost every public social event held by any group in Thorntrick.
She is a model citizen and face for multiple shops and the village town itself, as a replacement position for Bind, a Shadowbinder-Mimic Nocturne Lady who went blind and remains in her nesting lair now. When she isn't busy she will occasionally visit Bind and tell her about what she's doing and even ask for advice and council from her.

She is gentle and graceful in all aspects from speaking to simply walking, and flying.
Her dragon dance and job as an entertainer is celebrated by almost all citizens of Thorntrick and non-citizens flock to her rare events, and organized festivals, whether she performs or not, bringing in great tourism to the area.


She is surprisingly fragile, her hide can be chipped and cracked, and her bones are as thin and light as a bird. She's easily susceptible to illnesses and is treated very carefully, made to meet with a healer mage from the College every week for a check up on her closely monitored diets, and make sure there are no chips in her hide.
Though she dwells in the Shadow realm her heart remains in Nature, and she takes great joys from walking among the well maintained gardens and flowers all around Thorntrick. She can often be seen taking a casual stroll through certain areas near where she works regularly. Due to her fragility, she usually is accompanied by another dragon.

While many dragons adore her there are some dragons that would take a chance to cause harm to her, so she occasionally travels with Gaoler or Guardian, protection

It is rumored that she ended up this way, during a fierce battle protecting her fellow dragons, where she was burned so hotly that her very hide lost all the black of obsidian, and became like glass.
