The blond wisps of her hair curled and glinted from the ray of sun that seeped through the crown glass window. The young women lay on alabaster, carved magnificently, confidence was in the air as the model took her place.
This rendering was etching more and more firmly into Helena’s mind as she lay in her nest
one candle lit below the night sky

The voyueristic nature of the painting was... concerning to her

One who derives pleasure from this sort of watching would understand the unsettling nature of seeing the Econo box pull up. Another memory. The dusk air heavy with mosquitos and peering in one could not see an outline of a figure or being of any kind in the vehicle. Intense was the feeling, Helena could not describe it, her outer extremities started to shake violently
veins popcorning in and out, stretching the surface of her skin
sweat forming on her palms clogging her pores and the aching in her chest intensified
She knew it was hungry tonight

Just the night before she had sat on a familiar rock and cried alone
But it was different now
Eyes were beckoning
Slippery were the walls of her cave now with silky silvery sludge. It oozed down and pooled
She hadn’t been alone
It was going to make the best of tonight
