Biography

was found floating down a river swaddled in a basket, she had nothing to determine who she was or who her parents could be, but she was tired and crying out weakly for help. Honey found her and dragged her little basket on the bank of the river and immediately become protective of this small coatl who was cuddled up in some very soft blankets. Obviously she was well loved, she was chubby and round faced but her humming was odd, off pitch. Honey had grown used to the different pitches coatls used from the friends and while she couldn’t speak it she was beginning to understand the odd humming language. But kalanis seemed broken somehow, her voice would crack and her pitch would drop roughly and anger would flash across her small face. Honey unswaddled her and desperately tried to convey that kalani needed to follow her so she could get her to safety. As honey stuffed the blankets into the bag she carried on her back kalani stumbled up the bank and then let out another sad cracking wail. Honey shoved the basket into the reeds along the river so that someone larger than her could bring it back hone with much more ease than she could. Coaxing her as well as she could and trying to mimic the soft humming pitches that seedling and kladeos usually made (she always found their pitch the most calming) she tried to show the small coatl that she meant no harm. While it was obvious kalani was tired and hungry she followed honey as best she could, remaining silent for the most part except for sad weak sounding hums.

Basically I think kalani has something messed up with her vocal cords so she can’t speak correctly so her pitch and pronunciation and stuff isn’t very good but the friends try to help her

She’s aware that she was abandoned to a certain point and tries to ask honey and bay and anyone else in kombi where her parents are (I’m thinking they were both killed somehow and her parents last act was swaddling her up and pushing her down the river and hoping that someone good found her) and that she misses them
