Biography

UNSTABLE AND HIGHLY REACTIVE
ALCHEMY APPRENTICE

W5qLPBm.png image2.png

Curie was an accidental victim of Tzaporian's experiments. She was once just a newborn Spiral, solid grey with equally grey eyes. She was intrigued by Tzaporian's experiments and spent days with him in his lab. As the dust and soot from his cauldron built up on and under her scales, her color began to gradually change. After just a week, her eyes started to appear somewhat blue.

It went relatively unnoticed until two weeks later, when some dragon began screaming that Curie's eyes were bright blue. The entire clan gathered around and, sure enough, her once grey eyes were shocking blue. She was rushed off to the nearest stream, where she washed off the built up chemical soot, revealing that some of her grey scales had turned bright blue, and had even started to glow. After that day, some dragons started finding bright blue stones in the stream. Her den, which had been thoroughly scrubbed clean, glowed blue where she spent most of her time: at her bed, and at her desk.

Concerned for the safety of other dragons, Curie was barred from joining large groups of dragons by Jachitzfar. While saddened at first, Curie took the opportunity to spend more time with Tzaporian and experiment more with chemistry. She is currently trying to find a "cure" for her glowing scales and eyes.

As of Eun's promotion to Lair Leader, Curie is allowed to participate in any event any other dragon in the lair could. Curie herself has been deemed harmless, but her den is barred from even the Sanitation Crew. She still has been unable to rid herself of the effects of the alchemical radiation.

Recipes
  1. Algam - Food Item
A very hydrophilic salt. Algam must be thoroughly soaked in water to stabilize it. Consumption of raw Algam is deadly. Only has to be soaked once to become edible; it can be dried again and safely eaten. Served either as a dried sheet or as a thick pudding. It takes colors and flavors easily.
Favorite dish : Chicken Soup with Algam Dumplings
  2. Heating Salts - Luxury Item
A non-toxic large-flaked salt that has a highly exothermic dissolution. Can be scented, but doesn’t pick up flavors. Not recommended for food items.
    Commonly used in baths.
  3. Mud Bath - Luxury Item
A thick, dark “muddy” bath. Used for breed and gene changes. Must be used for at least 8 hours for full effect.
