B I O G R A P H Y

For the longest time he was the perfect plague dragon. He traveled with his family, and his clan causing destruction upon the lands. He did not grow up as the graceful and careful coatl he is today. No, he was something very different back then, he was cold, harsh, and as merciless as many plague dragons. He fed off the rot of the land, and rotted the land himself, as he traveled with his clan.

Exitium’s clan traveled all over Sorneith, and one of the many places they traveled were the dark forests of the tangled woods. It was there that he stumbled upon a sect of deadly assassins. They were compiled of many different dragons, many plague dragons, for they were known to be the most ruthless and savage. Exitium was soon recruited into their ranks. He spent a while training to learn the art of killing. He was a quick learner, and soon became very good at it. The coatl easily settled into the lifestyle of the sect, spending many days in the dark woods they called home, and traveling across Sorneith to carry out killings the sect was hired for.

He spent a long time in this life, he spent about six years of his life with the sect, and then one day a clan of ruthless mirrors happened upon their secluded lair. The two groups fought, it was a ruthless and bloody battle. The day ended with Exitium fleeing the lands, leaving behind the destroyed sect, and many dead dragons. The coatl couldn’t quite give up the profession that he relied on for years, the profession of the sect that he lived in for years. So he stayed an assassin, taking on any jobs he could get, and that paid well.

Exitium spent a couple more years as a freelance assassin, growing a reputation as one of the most deadly assassins out there. But there was one strange exchange he will always remember. It was a day like any other, when he met with a skydancer, under the pretense that she was looking to hire him for a job. But instead she told him the following.

"One day, you won’t be able to handle any more, you’ll have reached your limit. And then it will all spill over, you will feel all of the pain and suffering that you have caused, never ending, and never killing you. You will feel the crushing guilt for all the lives you took. You will hear the voices of the dragons you killed, they will haunt you forever. It will drive you crazy, but there will be no sweet release of death for you, just a never ending hell.”

"One day.” The dragon then left, her final two words ringing in his head, a promise.

The words made no sense to him then, they seemed like the ramblings of a madman. But he never forgot them, and for the rest of his days, those words would haunt him. And her simple promise of one day would never leave him. As he left, he did notice one difference from the encounter, his belly now seemed to be clear, an empty capsule of some type.

The encounter didn’t seem to effect Exitium’s life whatsoever. He continued on his path, killing dragons. Yet he began to notice, that with each kill, a bit of blood filled the capsule that once was his belly. He couldn’t understand it, but he had a dreadful feeling, that something horrible would happen should it ever fill.

It was one kill that made him understand his sense of impending doom. On that final kill, he stared into the dying eyes of the dragon, the eyes reminding him of something, sparking a memory, the words of the skydancer, that he heard merely weeks prior. It was in a single moment that Exitium realized the full weight of those words, a promise and a curse, what was to happen should the capsule ever fill. The coatl only saw one option to precede with his life and not go insane, give up killing, the only thing he had known for years, for most of his life.

Ae had no idea what to do with his life then, aimlessly wandering the continent, with no other skills he didn’t know what to do. He soon found a small sect of plague dragons settled in the Sunbeam Ruins, alongside 10 other sects. He figured it’d be a good place to find himself, and settle into his new normal life.

Although Exitium had a new life, he could never forget the promise of the skydancer who cursed him.

_Personality_

____Exitium doesn't ever get obviously angry, instead of snapping in anger like most dragons do, he becomes cold and fierce. He's quite level-headed and calm, and doesn't snap easily under pressure. He's extremely analytical and when meeting other dragons he carefully analyzes them searching for any weakness he could exploit. Although he was an assassin he did have some sort of code, he wouldn't kill dragons that by killing them he would be killed, he also never killed without a good reason.

____Although not a well known fact or a commonly seen trait, Exitium has a soft side. He can be kind and quite caring, although even dragons who experience this side of him aren't exempt from awkward conversations or his analyzing gaze. But one can tell that even this soft side of his has a hint of coldness, an artificial coldness and edgyness created by him to hide the fact that he has a heart.

_Quirks_

____Exitium has an extreme love for cats, but also an extreme hatred of his cat allergy, not that he lets that stop him. His familiar was one of the first cats he saw, and despite his allergy she has stuck by his side since he was a young dragon.

____Conversations with him can be quite dark, and potentially terrifying. He can almost always be found twirling a dagger when talking. He also commonly brings up plots to kill you, commonly based on his observed weaknesses of you. He's not one to skip over gruesome details, and these details can often be found in conversations with him. It's clear that Exitium is trying to figure out appropriate topics for casual conversation, it hasn't fully worked yet though.

____Exitium is extremely awkward with hatchlings and doesn't seem to understand them, not to say he doesn't try though. Although not obvious through careful observation one can tell he has a soft spot for them. He tends to watch what he says and does more around them, being careful not to bring up murder plots or fiddle as much with a dagger so as not to scare them.
