Vivien has a special interest in all manners of poisons and toxins. She loves to research their effects (from documented accounts) and has a small library full of textbooks and research notes. She also has a personal greenhouse that she keeps full of deadly species of plants, fungi, and small creatures. While this hobby may seem strange, it's been helpful many times since she is also an expert in antidotes.

Vivien and her twin sister Faline are very close despite their nearly polar opposite personalities. They share a meal nearly every day. Vivien is on the quiet side and doesn't enjoy large groups. However, this drew her attention to the stoic Verglas. The two became friends, and eventually mates. Despite feeling like she could never be a good mother, Vivien has had multiple children with Verglas. The pair have also adopted an abandoned egg found by Verglas.
