Dreamer

“You’re not supposed to be here,” she says, her voice silky like the silks draped on her. Her claws tap softly in the void. A void that is empty of the subconsciousness, a blank canvas in a way, ready to be filled with endless imagination and memories. She gazes around with her eyes, full of warmth despite it being ice blue. The stars shift on her skin as she moves, an endless pattern of blue and white. She grabs you by your scruff, affectionate and gentle just like a mother. Here, she guides you back to your dream area. “Rest now, little one. Paint your void with colors of all shades, but remember to not get lost to them in the waking world. For reality is around you, and you must face reality. Dreams are never permanent.” With that, she puts you down tenderly, giving you a soft touch to the head with her maw, before disappearing.
