Dance magic dance.
Dance like a candle in the wind. It flickers with the smallest of breaths, weaving smoke and magic through the air like a serpent. A serpent of life, death, and everything in between, and there is so very much in between.
It is the taken for granted moment, a laugh, a smile, a tear rolling down the cheek. It is the time when it feels like you can't catch your breath, your brain is going to explode, your heart is going to break. The long forgotten romance, the simple joy of finding shapes in the clouds, the laughter of a baby, it is all these things and more.
It's magic.
For ages, magic has involved candles. There are as many spells as there are letters and symbols one can carve or paint into the wax. Spells meant to drive people mad with lust, or wither with the rot of death. The inverse candles represent the deepest part of one's desire. It does not burn from the outside, but from the inside out. The inner fire melts away the wax covering as the deep desire is consumed with magic.
