Taught Prophet


Helenus is Cassandra's twin brother. She taught him the power of prophecy once it was granted to her. However, he could do nothing to stop her curse. Whilst her predictions are not believed, his are. He refused to leave his sister's side during the turmoil however, so the twins wandered Sornieth together, seeking a way to undo Cassandra's curse; until they came into difficulty in Foxfire Bramble. The pair were rescued by Sia who brought them back to clan Thanatos. They decided to stay for the time being. Helenus began to reach out to the other dragons within the lair, and whilst he aches for companionship other than that of his blood, he cannot be certain how long they will stay. He worries too that his gift could bring misfortune upon the both of them, so despite his inner pride, he stays silent.
Helenus decided to stay with the clan when they moved to the Shifting Expanse. At his sister's side, he desperately hoped they would stay and was immensely relieved when she decided she would stay too. In the same way she does, Helenus now makes himself useful in any way he can, doing odd jobs and whatever is needed at the time.
