Biography
Gifted with immortality, Aspen was created to protect white dwarf planets in the final stages of their lives. Despite it's hatchling like appearance, Aspen is actually billions of years old, it will never physically age and will roam the universe as a star caretaker until the heat death of the universe.
A white dwarf, whose mass is too low to become a neutron star or black hole, will shine for billions of years. It can be lonely, being in the process of dying for such a long time. So Aspen travels the universe searching for newly formed white dwarfs and accompanying them through the final stages of life until they finally become black dwarfs and Aspen can leave them to rest.
Because Aspen is as old as the universe, no one truly knows where it came from, some say it was formed when the first white dwarf appeared, some say it is even older than that. Regardless, we can thank Aspen for taking care of the objects that light up our night sky.
