Stygian

- A formless creature of shadow
- Unlike the other four, he does not directly interact with others. He lives in the darkness and observes all he can
- Sometimes he is careless and slips outside of his shadow. That flash of movement in the corner of your eye was probably him
- If he stays in one place for long enough his presence is revealed by the appearance of swarms of black birds. From afar they look like crows or ravens, but get closer and you will see that they are formed entirely from an inky substance that reflects no light
- He creates the birds from shadows to act as company, unaware of how unsettling they are to others
- Utterly emotionally detached from others, all he knows is to watch
- Skilled mages can make small silver beads that contain the all the knowledge and understanding of ones mind. By sacrificing these beads to Stygian, he will be summoned to them and will give them an answer to a single query. When doing so he covers the eyes of the summoner and writes a rune on the hand that held the bead. By channeling magic through this rune their question is answered. Some believe that his true form is visible to those who he bestows knowledge upon, hence why he covers their eyes
