plagued in his younger years by a touch that turned everything around him to the golden mineral that's now just patches on his hide. he gathered a band of dragons as outcasted as him to seek help from the clan of sakai; together they burrowed from the base of the mountain up to the lair. with the clan's help he beat back his curse to reveal the jet-black metal he'd been born covered in, and can feel the world around him again.
never forgot his time leading others to liberation. very prideful. took a long time to not think of himself as a monster and is revelling in thinking himself beautiful.
