Never, ever interrupt Pierre when he is lost in his books. They are his world of knowledge; with them, everything is right. His biggest pet peeve is to be shook from his dream reality by another barging in and needing his attention. He will, with a disgusted expression, sigh, dog-ear the page, and set the book down. He has it happen all too often; it feels like the others in his clan wait until he is reading to come in and bother him. Nonetheless, he never hurts anyone for stopping him in the midst of his reading, but he will find other ways – Small tricks of the sleeve to make them pay for doing it, even if they don’t realize that it was the reason that they had such pranks pulled on them. It is his mildly entertaining, but always light, form of revenge from being taken from his books. You best have an important reason to speak to him when he is reading. However, most usually, they do. He is a well-versed philosopher, and seems to know everything that there is to know about everything. He is an unending encyclopedia of information – Particularly, dark magic, being his favorite. He keeps to himself and avoids bothering everyone, but people have no qualms coming to him when they have issues to seek his help. He will always act like they’re a burden, even when he really gets excited over the fact that he has another visitor who wants information and well-versed opinion from him. Don’t let him fool you otherwise; he loves to talk, especially about what he knows, and can get caught speaking for hours if you allow him. Although not as popular as Argus, the two have different forms of intelligence that they have to offer. While Argus is the scholar who knows all about historical texts and all that is written in literature, he knows more about the mystical and philosophy. There are a few who visit him commonly, and he has chosen to take them on as his apprentices, teaching them his ways with the spiritual and the obscure, as well as the importance of thought and philosophy. At times, the two seem to get on each other’s feet when it comes to their differing opinions, but they seem to be friends nonetheless, and you might find them reading beside each other without any qualm after they’d been arguing just before.
