Abeba

STORY

Abeba was sitting at home, holding Berry (his familiar) on his lap, and petting his head softly. He was tired, and feeling slightly alone. He had a rough day, his performance hadn't gone so well a couple hours before and he felt defeated.

There was a knock at the door, Berry flew over to the door and sat in front of it, and brushed himself off and brushed his feathers so they laid down neatly.

"Come in!~" Abeba yelled in a sing-song voice.

The door opened and Mint popped his head in the door, he clicked happily and managed out a few jumbled up words, "Guhd S...Sh...Show!" It was rare to hear words come from Mint, Abeba felt touched, ne put his paw over his heart.

"Wow! Minty, have you been learning how to talk?" Abeba giggled,

Mint clicked happily and then slithered in the room, followed by Winter, who looked absolutely exhausted but still happy.

Winter's voice came out a bit raspy, "It really was a great show, Abbie, you did a lot of work on it, I'm proud of you"

Abeba smiled, "Thank you," His face grew concerned, "Are you okay? I can make you some tea and bring you an ice pack? You look.... well, you look horrible."

"It's been a rough few weeks, I'm exhausted. I'll take some tea, honey please? And an ice pack sounds great..." Winter's voice cracked as she spoke.

Abeba's neck feathers lowered, and he frowned as he went to brew some tea, "Maybe you need a break, honey," He grabbed an ice packet from a cooler and set it on her head, "All this work ain't good for you with your heightened empathy, there's another doctor in town, your patients have another option for a couple of days..."

"Yes but I.... Don't want to dissapoin-"

"No no no, none of that 'I don't want to disappoint anyone' stuff, you're making yourself sick sweetheart. You aren't disappointing anyone, get that stuff out of your head, you HAVE to have a day off every once in awhle. You need it or you will... You'll hurt yourself," Abeba looked teary eyed, Mint nodded in agreement, "Sweetheart I couldn't bare you being hurt and if you get too sick, you could die. That would be what disappoints others, you dying because you just can't take a break."

Winter got quiet and stayed quiet, she knew she couldn't win an argument with him.

Abeba brought her the tea, and sighed, "Take a day off, or I'll have Rigath make you take a day off. You're torturing yourself."



BASIC DESCRIPTION.

Abeba may be seen as overdramatic, rude, obnoxious, etc. But in reality, he's very smart. Abeba is the best advice-giver in the whole clan altogether because he's not afraid to hurt anybody's feelings! He is blunt and lays out the facts.

He loves to act, he loves to play any form of main role whether he'd be good at the character or not. When he acts, he becomes the character. He is the character. He wants to be the character. He could not care less if the character is female, male, monster or child, he'll play the character and he will do his BEST to play it well.

While Abeba is not afraid to hurt people's feelings, he cannot stand any form of crying or distress. He will cry too, or stress himself out. He has good intentions, and wants to help other dragons so badly, but sometimes being too real doesn't help in those situations. He can't sugarcoat things, so he tries to stay out of situations where he feels that he has to. A lot of dragons dislike him for his inability to sugarcoat his advice, but many go to him when they really really need the help.
