Arnett grew up in the Abiding Boneyard and is as harsh as his home made him. He came across his disease during the night, amidst only bones as witness. He was able to kill the creature that attacked him, but at great cost to himself. He is no longer able to fly. He rarely leaves the caverns anymore at all, preferring the hot, dank caves and their blissful darkness.

Despite his rough background, Arnett has a surprising gentleness about him, in everything from the way he moves to the way he speaks. He is afraid of very little and has even faced down Aberrant when the mirror was in a blind rage over nothing in particular. The scar he earned from the fight that followed and the fact that he wasn't immediately slain earned him the respect of most of the dragons in the lair. They leave him be and, though his presence isn't particularly intimidating, no one taunts him about his gentle demeanor anymore. Though he does not ever talk about it, there is a bitterness that surrounds him, leaking through the gentleness he exudes.
