Biography

Sherbet
Clan Spirit
May you live in interesting times.

The craft that Sherbet apparently wants to perfect is being utterly infuriating to his clanmates. He can appear on walls, in the furniture, and even (to Raymond's outrage) inside library books. And even though newcomers may find him cute, he quickly disabuses them of that notion within the first few days, unrelenting in his chattering and tittering at the most inappropriate times. He's supposed to be a household spirit, according to Al, but Sherbet is probably the furthest thing from benevolent house deity that a dragon can get. Oh well - at least he's entertaining.

Personalitytumblr_inline_np4wctTbNd1t8garv_75sq.png
A typical hatchling, Sherbet is mischievous, uncooperative, and all kinds of naughty. However, unlike normal hatchlings he never grows out of it. His pranks and misdirections are the bane of the clan, and he delights in causing mayhem. Sherbet doesn't consider his behaviour wrong in any sense of the word - everyone ought to be kept on their toes! Orion nearly exalted himself in sheer frustration after looking after him for just a week, so now Al reassigns Sherbet-watching duty every couple of days to whichever clan member he wants to punish.

Background tumblr_inline_np4wctTbNd1t8garv_75sq.png
Sherbet just manifested one day. Optimistic clan members say he was born from their love of and dedication to the Manor. More realistic ones know he's here as a punishment for Al's various misendeavours. He seems to have no memory of anything before his appearance, but any probing questions directed at Sherbet will be received with a mocking grin and your personal inventory completely reorganised.

Relationships tumblr_inline_np4wctTbNd1t8garv_75sq.png
Sherbet is regarded by clan members with everything from indulgent amusement to apoplectic rage. Everyone is grateful that corporeality is still quite difficult for him to maintain - unless he really makes an effort, Sherbet's antics are limited to the intangible. Orion is his enemy and victim most of the time, but he isn't shy about provoking every single clan member from Al to the new-born hatchlings.
