As a hatchling Niko bumped into a imperial when looking for his parents. The imperial looked annoyed then saw how small the hatchling was. The imperial looked concerned, she asked him his name, "What's your name?" She picked him up. "Niko.." He said.
"I am Honey." She said. Honey looked at his wings and face, something burned him? Honey looked terrified. Niko looked at her face, "Is something wrong?" He said. "You have burns!" She cried. He looked annoyed, "I am a opal skydancer! Not burned."
"Sorry." She said. Niko sighed. "Have you seen my parents?" He said, changing the subject. "No" She said.
"Can you be my mom?" Niko said. Honey sighed, "No, but you can stay at my den."
