  ' Hey, Avani! I found an egg but it might be shade-touched! and I hope it didn't lead anything here..." said Corvus, in a rushed and worried tone. He was the current shop owner of Lira's Fire-lit Bakery, he had been looking in the nearby forest for some unique herbs and berries, of course not the poison kind.

Forsake! He studied about safe ones! and kept it in a book so he'd remember it! But, Lately, he stumbled upon an egg and a soft transparent wind stone, the egg wasn't harmed or cracked. It looked like a wind egg but slightly darker and had white spots. He feared it was shade-touched, So he ran to Avani, She was Protector of the Town.

"Well, there's no time to lose! we can't handle another attack by them! we'll perish!" Said Avani, in another rushed tone with a hint of anxiety, taking the egg away from Corvus gently. Once it was he set the strange stone on one of the boxes.

it felt like an hour or so until something both of them didn't see coming. the egg slowly started to crack up from the bottom to the very top of it. Panic went through both of them before the hid behind the boxes that Avani forgot to unpack for a long time.

A little black and white Coatl covered in little white stars, Hatched from the egg as it split into two whole pieces falling onto the side of the young Coatl. The small Coatl could sense their stone around. it crawled towards it, before climbing up the box with their sharp claws grabbing onto the stone holding it tightly and not daring to drop it. They stayed until both Corvus and Avani slowly walked towards it.

"Well, it does not seem to be shade-touched at all," Avani commented. "Well, where are their parents?'' Avani also asked Corvus. "I didn't see them around anywhere, I've only found the egg in the forest," Corvus replied to Avani. "Could have been a Quetzalcoatl that must've took the egg there. Or well, nature and you know. how I came here." Avani said.

"I know, and I can understand you may be still unpacking that...it's hard to know that that happened to you. However, I can take them and take care of them for the time being until we can find or know what may have happened to their parents."

Corvus answered with a hint of something power-hungry showing his true nature. "I think I'll be taking care of them, I don't think you've ever really taken care of someone like this and at the very least, I know what you did that one time, Don't even try to hide it." Avani quickly replied taking the young Coatl into her arms, as they quickly snuggled into her hand.

''I'll tell the clan leader about them as well, and I'll see from there, And you know you can't call on keeping them yet, it's up to Nadia." She finished saying. "Fine, but you better not tell them it was me who found them, I'd like to be kept, Unknown," Corvus said before using teleportation to go away.

"While you're here, I'll call you Ori from now on until Nadia can decide where you'll go."
Avani said eased slightly from Corvus being gone. Before making a little spot for the young coatl to sleep.
