B I O G R A P H Y

Paloke is a rather mysterious dragon, preferring to spend most of his time with Kele studying ancient tomes passed down to him from his parents eons ago, before they both left him to serve deities. After they left him, these tomes were his only companion until the massive magical energy surges that occurred during the Bounty of the Elements shook his tower, mysteriously transporting him to the very rim of the Wyrmwound, injuring him in the process. Assuming that he was going to die, he threw each of the precious books up over the ridge one by one, hoping that they at least would be spared the contagion swirling below. This motion, however, was enough to attract the attention of a curious lone nocturne nearby. She emerged from her hiding place to investigate the source of these books, only to find Paloke trapped. As a lightning element dragon, she was all too aware of the dangers of disease to non-plague dragons, and did her best to help him until he recovered. During his recovery, they became fast friends and soon something more. Their lives were not without struggle - Paloke, unlike Kele, is very difficult to miss, and wandering clans occasionally challenged the two of them over one thing or another. These wanderers usually left without much issue - but as small losses built up, Paloke finally convinced his mate to travel with him in search of a more secure home. After a long journey, the two finally ended up meeting Mimi on patrol and slowly settled in among the clan, telling stories from the tomes to delighted hatchlings and adults alike.
