Biography
if you asked the clan about hermes, the first thing they'd tell you is that the small bird constantly resting on his head is his only joy in life. so far, this theory has yet to be proven false. hermes is arrogant and cold-hearted, and it's pretty hard to believe that such a jerk could possibly be the clan's messenger, but here he is. despite his apathetic attitude at home, he is incredibly kind and inviting on the job (his clanmates will never believe it, though).
hermes is genderfluid and more often than not the first words to come out of his mouth in the morning are the day's preferred pronouns (he/him currently being used for the sake of his information page). his overall appearance is rather feminine and many dragons (those who don't know him personally, that is) find him very charming.
seeing as he doesn't really seem to care about anyone aside from his wyrmpeck companion, one might assume that hermes has no friends, which may be the case. if there's anyone he even remotely gets along with, it's probably gale, who joined the clan around the same time he did. gale seems to be the only one (aside from dilettante, but that's a whole other story) who can pique his interest or even make him smile, albeit very rarely. still, such achievements are impressive compared to the futile efforts of the rest of the clan.
