A troubled youth, desperate for relief from the crumbling life around her, called to the skies in her dreams. Life in her head was so much simpler than trying to navigate the complicated nuances of childhood. She suffered daily for years, always knowing she was different, but never having an understanding why. The world rotated and carried on whether she could fathom her existence within.

One particularly difficult day, she noticed a small being of light walking with her. Eventually she named the being "Rees." She felt immediate calm and comfort as they plodded along the concrete path for miles. Though in pain, she took solace in this new found friend. She found herself calling to Rees in her times of need and loneliness. For years, Rees came to the aid of her human.

Rees' light abilities allowed her to fluidly change between species and genders as the situation called for. She most represented as a pure ebony horse, with a fine white mane, and lightly glowing green eyes.

Rees is an unbelievably caring, gentle soul towards her human. To outsiders, she is aggressive and hostile. She has seen the damage caused by the general world and seeks to protect her human from further harm, at any cost.

Rees is the voice of reason and stability for her human. She is her sword and shield. There is nothing Rees would not sacrifice.
