NOTES - From a poaching Underground Network. - Team Arrow is a group of dragons who live off (semi-secretly) poaching / bartering parts / substances from the creatures of Sornieth and overseas... To sell on the Black Market :'33 Money, money!! - Their logo, or emblem, is a hooded owl! - Hibou is (officially-speaking, for his Village) bringing the Solarvul hides to the market, and selling / auctioning them! Buuut, for a while now, he has... Let's say, "secretly expanded" his business, to include many kinds of wild (AND underground, but shhh!) critter parts... - Hibou is the head of operation... Taking care of Team Arrow's loose logistics, WHILE also physically poaching critters in his spare time. Omg. - Is a kitsune, with the Arrow Spectral Sign (assigned to the end of Autumn, afaik November) + Full Moon Marking! - While talking, or when writing this info down in official documents, Hibou would be labelled as a "Autumn's Full Arrow" Zodiac! - His Zodiac gives him the power to summon hovering feathers all around him, when in his were-shape, which he can then fire at people bothering him... And it cuts them up :'D oh no... - And for example, Echidna (leader of the Silver Heart Village), would be labelled as "Winter's Waning Flower in Snow"!! - You just put down the Season, before the Moon Marking; which is itself BEFORE the Spectral Sign :'33!!! So basically, Season + Moon Marking + Spectral Sign = Zodiac! - - insert Zodiac lore!! - Moon Markings, combined with the Spectral Signs, are an influence to the Silver Heart Village's individuals' were-shapes VVV WAXING (all phases, crescent / claw-thin to almost-full / eye) FULL (when it stays for a small bit, as a perfect orb) WANING (all phases, obvs reversed from the "waxing" level above) - There are 3 Spectral Signs per seasons. So 12 in total. Spectral Signs have different effects on the individual, depending on their season-of-belonging VVV WINTER = Frizzy fur / hypertrichosis, all infertile without exception. SPRING = Much bigger in size, keen affinity with plants (can comprehend their thoughts, and help them grow by touching them). SUMMER = Barely need to eat in their were-shape, self-regenerative abilities. AUTUMN = Spiritual and truth-driven, will often become priests or leaders! They always have promising future, which comes hand-in-hand with their peers' jealousy, and self-born pressure. Kitsune Zodiac / Spectral Signs (influences their "alternate" were-shape; same with the moon phases and seasons, mentioned just above this!) W - January; - Name : Mountain Stoat (like the white fur that the stoat wears, at this time of the year). - Characteristics : Stalking capacities, very keen insight. WAXING - Pelt with piebald markings on top of their design. FULL - Very fluffy fur on them Kitsune were-shape :'33 With very big front and back paws... The beans!! WANING - Patchy fur. Thin frame. W - February; - Name : Flower in Snow (first flowers that come out, during late winter). - Characteristics : Nature-oriented thinking, green thumb. WAXING - One or both eyes, are replaced by orbits filled with asters (the individual sees thanks to the flowers). FULL - Feather "crown" and flowers, growing out of the were-shape's neck. WANING - Proto-feathers (similar to thin and hard spikes) all along the individual's back. SP - March; - Name : Renewal (everything and everyone wakes up). - Characteristics : Sharp spirit, sharp eyes. Can "switch" perception mode to see heat signatures. WAXING - Three eyes. FULL - Long silky pelt, that reaches the ground. WANING - Mix of fur and feathers in their entire pelt. SP - April; - Name : Deluge (heavy rains from the spring). - Characteristics : General speed / swiftness, water-breathing. WAXING - Can create / throw up mountains of small "pearls", used for official ceremonies and magical purposes. FULL - Can summon a small cloud of thunderstorm around them / from their front paws. WANING - Their tears heal wounds. SP - May; - Name : Warmth Sun Rays (times are getting brighter and warmer). - Characteristics : Brightness / Hope, can communicate with wolves (their life-long enemies, making these were-kitsune very good mediators that can resolve most conflicts). WAXING - Large fangs, like, wolf-level of big and sharp. Causes them to look a bit disfigured / the teeth are too big for their mouth... But they have more attack power / bite strength. FULL - Can cause a burst / explosion of radiant energy to attack / defend themself. They are weakened and almost K.O. after doing this. WANING - Always darker in fur colours and markings, like a shadow. However, they project no actual shade on the ground, or walls, or objects... Etc. etc. SUM - June; - Name : Harrier Wings (birds be nesting, and riding the wind at maximum velocity). - Characteristics : Flying abilities, entering another person's mind and memories. WAXING - Owl-face marking (think like... Fur and proto feathers, creating an "halo" or "oval" shape around the face of the were-kitsune); the muzzle is kept. FULL - A second pair of feathered wings! Very useful for flying! WANING - Sharp bird-of-prey talons on all 6 limbs :'33 SUM - July; - Name : Infinite Ends (time is moving forward). - Characteristics : Fire control, calculating abilities (maths, physics, etc... So they are often intellectuals and scholars). WAXING - Extra set of limbs (not wings, more like.. Another pair of secondary arms? AKA they have 8 limbs now!) FULL - Flame "collar" on the neck and chest areas. WANING - Janus conditions / two faces (so two muzzles, three eyes... Etc. you get the idea. They never die from this, unlike critters IRL). SUM - August; - Name : Harvest Bones (you can finally gather them Solarvul hides). - Characteristics : Can smell general rot and infections in others, compulsive gathering of dead things. WAXING - Non-lethal mushrooms growing out of the back... FULL - Fox skull for a face, with glowing eyes. WANING - One long and very solid claw on each limb (think raptor claw), perfect for cutting and skinning them Solarvuls :'33c A - September; - Name : Death (fallen leaves on the ground). - Characteristics : Physical fatigue / weak strength, astral vision (simply to see in other realms). WAXING - Wheat "branches" intertwined with the were-kitsune's fluffy mane. FULL - Long spiky mane (bigger than all other Spectral Signs and Moon Phases)... Can legit be used as a weapon, to even cut opponents. WANING - Golden Eagle head, with a sharp beak and everything. The were-kitsune's fur becomes golden-brown and mottled white (the pattern changes as the individual gets older). Seen as a bad omen, as they do not retain a kitsune head :'(( A - October; - Name : Like the Scroll (as in, a parallel... As the abstract spacing between different worlds is at its thinnest, here). - Characteristics : Astral projection, blindness. WAXING - Double jaws? Normal grinning mouth, with another mouth underneath (like, on the upper throat area! Can't explain well, lol :D) FULL - Sometimes appears visually "fuzzy" to others. Elders / old ones with this Spectral Sign, can even create "doubles" of themselves! WANING - No eyes. Empty black orbits. A - November; - Name : Arrow (hunting and wilderness times / concepts). - Characteristics : Malice / Despair, sometimes in a state of "hunting fever" or delirium. WAXING - Cat eyes for night vision. FULL - Floating feathers around the individual, which can be telepathically shot at others like "arrows". WANING - Red lightning cracks around them... Others are afraid of this. Beware. W - December - Name : Celestial (the moon appears at its brightest, during the deepest winter times). - Characteristics : Linked to the stars / source of cosmic energy, can radiate healing powers. WAXING - Nothing else special. The losing combination from the whole Zodiac... Rip. FULL - Rarest Spectral Sign + Moon Marking combining. These were-kitsune are pure white and shining, and are revered as special... Therefore, they are cut off from the outside world, and only seen as an idol of worship and admiration. It is said that all of their components / body parts, can cause miracles to happen to the bearer. WANING - Sees past / present / future world events... But cannot understand their context, nor do anything to influence them IRL in any way. |
