Ask anyone on the lair and they'll tell you that NannyCrowley is a vital part of the running of Chaotic Daydreams. They'll give you dozens of reasons for why she's loved and respected and listened to with just the right amount of apprehension tinged with awe. And every one of them will be telling the truth. Probably because truth is as the guardian wants it to be.

Just appearing one day, this beautiful apparition of a dragon simple seemed to take over the children. No one had called her, but no one could say she didn't belong there either. While her markings were fearsome, and she affected a gruff attitude, everyone could see how filled with love and adventure she was. While her methods were sometimes looked at as a bit odd, it was also very clear that the little ones absolutely adore their caretaker.

It was a very short time before Nanny, as she's called, took over the training of the new fighters as well. Her ascension from fledgling to seasoned fighter was one for the record books, and she always brings her charges home in one piece. Sometimes a little battered, but always roaring for more. No one's quite sure how she manages to turn out such scar-free fighters, but no one really asks too much about anything she does.

Of herself, all Nanny will say is that she "likes it here" and it's better company than she had in many places. As long as everyone is so happy with her presence, there's no real reason to question anything about it... and that's the way it should be.
