Horticulturist

Tillamook (named after a strawberry cultivar) is the clan's foremost horticultural expert. Her techniques and experiments rely on a blend of science, magic, and good-natured determination to succeed against the Southern Icefield's harsh conditions. Tillie is also well-versed in the art of postharvest physiology, devoting as much of her time to preserving her crop as she does to raising it. Her efforts supplement the food stores brought in by the clan's hunters and gatherers. Tillamook's essential contributions (as well as her proclivity for bringing others gifts of jam or other treats "just because") make her a beloved and respected maternal figure among her clanmates.
