A lithe, quick-witted skydancer was found during the Tribe's growth, deep in the cave systems behind the sheer cliff walls of the Windswept Plateau. She pointed them in the direction of the Ashfall Waste, where the much deeper systems and long cooled lava flows would be more appropriate for a tribe of their size.

Her decision to leave was easy, a dragon of her breed, with such oddly fitting talents did not belong in this area where they were wasted. So she joined the bold clan, her scales quickly changing to mimic theirs, and shine like the jewels and geodes she sought after.

She helped them locate a very large system in the Great Furnace, and with the aid of the other tribe members was able to lead them and instruct them to clear a cave and hundreds of den areas. Not satisfied with her own purpose, Ruby moved on to search deeper into the lava tunnels, mining and collecting gems and various other crystals for the tribe, the rarest of which decorate her personal den.

It was difficult for such a seclusive lady to find a mate, but eventually ArcaneTempest caught her eye. He very rarely decided to join her in the tunnels, and even more rarely she came out of the tunnels and into the daylight to accompany him to patrol the borders and show her the wonders above ground.
